Sustainability is not a slogan for us—it is action. All our timber is sourced from responsibly managed forests, and we actively reduce our carbon footprint through energy efficiency and recycling initiatives.

We pioneered a waste timber recycling scheme supplying free biomass fuel to local schools, funded the development of Woodsure (the UK’s leading wood fuel quality certification scheme), and are proud supporters of the Grown in Britain initiative to encourage the use of sustainable British timber.

At Harvey’s, Health & Safety is the ground we build on—not a box to tick. Every decision is made with people and protection in mind.

Our dedicated team includes an H&S Manager supported by two H&S Advisors. We are ISO 45001 certified and Alcumus Safecontractor accredited. All site personnel hold the appropriate CSCS cards for their roles.

We embed prevention and accountability through robust RAMS, site-specific inductions, daily briefings and toolbox talks, supply-chain competence checks, and regular audits. Near-miss reporting and trend analysis drive continuous improvement—delivering safe sites, safe teams, and dependable outcomes on every programme.
