We delivered a full store refit of the Co-op at Bassett Green, transforming the existing retail space with a complete strip-out and installation of new flooring, refrigeration, services, and store fixtures. The works included structural alterations, plant installation, and reconfiguration of operational areas to support the updated store layout and operational requirements.

The 16-week construction programme involved extensive internal refurbishment works alongside external plant and roof upgrades, ensuring the store was fully modernised and aligned with the latest Co-op format.

Our scope included

Full strip-out of the sales floor and existing store fixtures

Removal of ACM materials from the basement by specialist contractor

Full removal of the existing shop floor structure

Installation of a new sales floor structure and finishes

Installation of new refrigeration cases throughout the store

Installation of new external plant equipment

Installation of a new external coldroom including formation of a new door opening

Demolition and relocation of the manager’s office

Reconfiguration of the bakery area

New freezer location and installation of ambient shelving

Installation of a new T-bar ceiling across the sales floor

Full mechanical and electrical fit-out across the store
